ShipSeeker ("we", "us") provides trade-data and tariff information. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Account data: if you register, we store your name, email, and a securely hashed password. Email preferences are stored so we can honor your choices. Payment data: subscriptions are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. Usage data: standard server logs (IP, browser, pages) and analytics.

How we use it

To operate your account, provide subscription features, send transactional and (if opted in) data-update emails, respond to enquiries, and improve the service.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in sessions, an access cookie for Pro features, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand usage. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser.

Third parties

We share data only with providers that run the service: Stripe (payments), Postmark (email delivery), and Google Analytics (aggregate usage). We do not sell your personal data.

Your choices

You can update email preferences or unsubscribe anytime from your account, and request access to or deletion of your account data by emailing hi@shipseeker.xyz.

Data sources

Trade and tariff figures are derived from public U.S. Census Bureau, UN Comtrade, and USITC data. They are not personal data.
